Hello readers and prayer warriors-
We're two days out from leaving for the Dominican Republic and I'm so excited! It's been pretty stressful packing for the trip, so I'm just eager to get there.
We collected donations last week for children we'll be working with, and the responses to the request for the donated items have been overwhelming. Things like toys, standard medicines, beads for necklaces, nail polish, clothes, and toiletries were asked for, and people really went out of their way to make sure we had enough for everyone! It has been so cool to see all these items pile up and know that soon enough they will be putting huge smiles on the faces of the people of the DR.
Training camp starts tonight... more to follow then :)
